The research activities of the Institute follow the lines laid out in its founding act: 1. Study of the relationship between population trends and social and economic development: applied social research and public opinion surveys; gender and family studies; analysis of social structural change and population dynamics; migration studies; statistical-computational studies; health economic and health studies in a statistical-mathematical and socio-medical perspective. 2. Study of social dynamics and policies regarding the welfare systems. 3. Study of societal change and the diffusion of knowledge and technology of information. |
