Train the Trainers, training on gender equality for eight Cnr trainers has started

In Vigo, Spain, from 6 to 8 June some colleagues will begin the preparation through which they will in turn be trainers for the staff of the National Research Council.
In Vigo, Spain, from 6 to 8 June some colleagues will begin the preparation through which they will in turn be trainers for the staff of the National Research Council. Two days of training for different profiles and professional levels who, having responded to an expression of interest, have chosen to become trainers to facilitate the cultural change towards greater gender equality in our research institution. In particular, the objectives of the training will be the promotion of equality in scientific careers, the monitoring of gender balance in decision-making processes and in governance bodies, the integration of the gender dimension in the contents of research and innovation, as well as the implementation of the Gender Equality Plan (GEP). The team is formed as follows:

In Vigo they will participate in active and participatory workshops in which they will compare good practices and experiences in a heterogeneous context with the other 9 European partners of "MINDtheGEPs - Modifying Institutions by Developing Gender Equality Plans" the European research project aimed at raising awareness on gender inequalities in the world of scientific research and the implementation of the Gender Equality Plan, which sees the participation of the CNR with a group of'' Institute for Research on Population and Social Policy (Cnr-Irpps). This will be the first training event and next summer there will be a second one in Belgrade (Serbia).
