The consultancy project of the IRPPS intended to assist the operators of the CRS-Caritas of Rome in the analysis of the requests for assistance requested from Caritas by those who, despite coming from countries with crisis and / or conflict situations, live in Italy without having submitted an application for international protection and therefore very often in situations of irregularity. The task of the Institute's researchers was to help not only to read vulnerable situations but also to structure intervention paths. Alongside the consultancy activity, an original research work was also carried out on a group of migrants assisted by Caritas of Rome, which produced a final report which also contains operational indications in terms of social intervention policies on the protected. international.
