World Refugee Day

In order to intensify efforts to contribute to the peace and security of refugees, the United Nations General Assembly has chosen to celebrate the  World Refugee Day on June 20th of each year.

The action of the Convention of the Italian Network of UNESCO Chairs (ReCUI), which approved one last January 24th Shared statement on migration.

CNR-IRPPS participates in this work with the contribution of the researcher Angela Paparusso, member of the UNESCO Chair in "Population, migration and development" at Sapienza University, among the promoters and authors of this Statement.

The Statement, available here, discusses the main areas involved in this challenge, such as education, cities, places and territories, health and participatory citizenship.
