INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING ON THE IRPPS-CNR WEBSITE
Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 on the processing and protection of personal data

 

The IRPPS-CNR, with registered office in Via Palestro 32, 00198 Rome, tel: (+39) 06 492724 217 – 283, fax  (+39) 06 492724 301, website: www.irpps.cnr.it, email: segr.irpps@irpps.cnr.it, protects the confidentiality of personal data and guarantees protection of the data in any event that can put it at risk of breach. The Data Processing Controller is the CNR President (presidenza@cnr.it).
To this end the Data Manager, in the person of the IRPPS-CNR Director, implements what is set out in the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the collection, processing and storage of personal data and guarantees the exercise of the rights given to data subjects by the regulations in force. The Controller, in the person of the CNR President, has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted when needed. The contact details of the Data Protection Officer are as follows: giuliano.salberini@cnr.it (provision no. 46 dated 21/05/2018).
The information contained in the mailing list is collected for the sole purpose of making the information on IRPPS-CNR operations and its research activity available on-line. Furthermore, periodical analyses are performed on the visits to the published pages in order to monitor the use and direct further developments and adaptations of the IRPPS-CNR portal.
Personal data is not used in any way for any other purposes or transferred to third parties either inside or outside the EU.
The data is processed using both electronic and paper means and tools which are made available to persons acting under the Controller’s authority who are authorized and trained for the purpose.
The personal data is stored in electronic or paper archives protected by effective and fitting security measures to counter the risks of breach singled out by the Controller. They are stored for the time necessary to complete the functions they are required for and until the data subjects withdraw their consent.The items on this site may include incorporated content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.). Content incorporated from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.For users who register on our website, we also memorize the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, amend or erase their personal information at any time (except for their username which cannot be changed). The website administrators can also view and amend this information.The regulations entitle the data subjects to have constant control over their data. In particular, they have the right to:
• access;
• rectification;
• erasure;
• restrict processing;
• object to processing;
• data portability.
The rights are guaranteed without charge. No particular formalities need to be followed to request to exercise them. The data subject has the right:
• to obtain a copy of their data, also in electronic format;
• to obtain erasure of the data or restrict processing, or update and rectify the data;
• to obtain all useful communications on the activities carried out after exercising their rights without delay and nevertheless no later than one month after the request is made, unless reason is given and duly communicated to extend the period to two months.

Save any other administrative or judicial actions, the data subject can present a complaint to the authorized control body or to the authority that performs its tasks and exercises its powers where the data subject habitually resides or works in Italy, or if not in Italy, in the member state where the EU regulation 2016/679 was breached.
