She carries out comparative analysis of the Italian welfare model and its main areas (pension, health and social welfare, education and training, labour market) and studies on the way social policies are set up and implemented both at local and national level, and on the role of the state, market, third sector and families in the welfare system.
Local welfare
Objectives: to implement local welfare networks; to develop tools to pinpoint social demands and monitor and evaluate social policies; to build up statistical data in order to programme an inclusive and effective welfare system.
Methodology: interactive research-action to stimulate reflection and multidisciplinary work using qualitative, quantitative and training tools and developing tools for monographic investigation.
The projects concern three levels of intervention:
- governance, to provide the District with adequate tools to identify expressed and non-expressed social requirements;
- management, to monitor local welfare intervention plans both qualitatively and quantitatively;
- training, to share languages and practices for the identification and construction of tools for gathering information on social requirements.
