Salvatore Strozza
Salvatore Strozza (male), born in Italy in 1963, is full professor in Demography at the University of Naples Federico II. He is the coordinator of the bachelor degree program in Political Science and Master’s degrees in International Relations. He was Vice-President and President of the Italian Association for Population Studies (AISP-SIS) and is on the editorial board of two international journals: Genus and Studi Emigrazione/Migration Studies. His main field of research is international migration, with major contributions on: Sources and methods of measurement and estimates; Demographic consequences of international migration; Fertility of immigrants; Measures and determinants of immigrants integration; Second generation and school system. He is the author of more than 220 articles or chapters in scientific journals, volumes and conference acts, the (co)author of three books (monographic volumes) and the (co)editor of sixteen volumes. He (co)edited four monographic numbers of scientific journals (Studi Emigrazione/Migration Studies No. 152/2003, No. 171/2008, No. 202/ 2016; GENUS vol. LXXI, No. 2-3, 2015).
