Technologist associated with the Research Institute on Population and Social Policies of the CNR. Since 1993 she has been in charge of the 'IT processing and database service'. Over the years she has been supporting research especially with regard to the processing of complex data from opinion polls and other sources. The research interests mainly extend to some methodological aspects of the study of population data with in-depth analysis and applications of statistical techniques that include monovariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis.
During these years she has followed in particular the design and definition of opinion poll questionnaires. The topics covered are: family and fertility studies, migration, highly specialized migrations, young people (perception of science), the elderly, knowledge of demographic issues. In recent years, her research interests has also extended to the study of visits to the institute's website; in fact, a permanent observatory of website visits has been set up and a data web mining service has been set up at the request of researchers. This service regularly carries out the analysis of the criticalities and needs connected to the web pages, in order to keep the communicative effectiveness of the published material constant and to constitute a constant support to the research of the Institute.
