Oscar Tamburis holds a degree in Management Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Economics and Management of Healthcare Organizations. After a post-doctoral period in eHealth at the Institute of Biomedical Technologies of the CNR, he served as Senior Consultant for the Ministry of Health on projects focused on the development of Telemedicine and Healthcare Information Systems for the regions of Southern Italy. He was then a research fellow at the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies of the CNR within the H2020 project “MOCHA: Models of Child Health Appraised,” and continues his collaboration there as an associated researcher.
He is currently a Researcher in Information Systems at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production of the University of Naples Federico II, where he teaches Medical Informatics.
His main research topics currently focus on the development and dissemination of technological innovation in the medical field (both human and veterinary), with particular reference to the areas of Business Process Analytics (Modeling\/Reengineering\/Improvement), Process Mining, and Sensing.
He is the scientific coordinator and WPL for academic and national projects related to Veterinary Informatics, editorial member and reviewer for several journals (IEEE, Emerald, IGI GLOBAL), and external evaluator for COST and H2020 projects. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
