Holding a PhD in Political Science, he was a research fellow in the History of Political Doctrines at the Sant\u2019Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa for four years and in the History of Economic Thought at Roma Tre University for two years. He has also conducted research at the Universit\u00e9 Paris I Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne, CesUE (Sant\u2019Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa), A.R.E.L.A., and the Centre for Studies on Federalism in Turin. His research interests focus primarily on the history of the idea of Europe in the 20th century, the thought of Albert Camus, the history of federalist thought, decolonial thought, and the history of democracy. <\/p>

He has participated in research projects and teaching activities at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, the Universit\u00e9 Savoie-Mont Blanc, the University of Cyprus, the University of Cambridge, the University of Hong Kong, Universitatea din Bucuresti, and the University of Naples Federico II. He was a Visiting Professor at the Universit\u00e9 El Manar in Tunis in 2019 and at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires in 2023. <\/p>

He directs the series “Teoria e ricerca sociale e politica” for the Altravista publishing house in Pavia and was the editor of the publication “Stati Uniti d\u2019Europa” for the Critica Liberale Foundation. He is a member of the editorial board of Euractiv.it. <\/p>
