European context (<strong>WELL-MIG<\/strong>) is a<strong> <\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Nunito Sans'; font-style: normal; font-size: 16px;\">PRIN<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Nunito Sans'; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-size: 16px;\"><strong> <\/strong>project (Progetti di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale-2022CHTHEF).<\/span><\/p><p> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6a56f665 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6a56f665\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span>It is <\/span>funded by the <strong>Ministry of University and Research<\/strong> (<strong>MUR<\/strong>), with a <strong>two-year duration<\/strong>, coordinated by <strong>IRPPS-CNR <\/strong>and carried out with the Department of Methods and Models for Economics, Territory and Finance (<strong>MEMOTEF<\/strong>) of <strong>Sapienza University of Rome<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The WELL-MIG project aims to advance knowledge on <strong>subjective well-being<\/strong> (<strong>SWB<\/strong>) in <strong>Italy <\/strong>within the <strong>European context<\/strong>, studying its different measures among <strong>immigrants<\/strong> and <strong>natives<\/strong>, across <strong>immigrant To do this, the project will: <\/p><ul><li>jointly analyze various <strong>official surveys<\/strong> conducted in European countries, including Italy, in the period 2015-2022 (WP1);<\/li><li>develop <strong>new indicators<\/strong> and <strong>interpretative models<\/strong> on SWB, based on non-aggregative approaches, and integrating them with traditional ones and  <\/li><li>analyze <strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">social media<\/strong> data <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">to investigate the characteristics and dynamics of the relationship between the population&#8217;s subjective well-being and immigration (WP2);<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Nunito Sans'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">study the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Nunito Sans'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold;\">life stories of immigrants<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Nunito Sans'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"> to understand their SWB before and after the migration experience, also in relation to the acquisition of citizenship <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">(WP3).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>The WELL-MIG project has important implications not only for <strong>science<\/strong>, but also for <strong>social cohesion<\/strong> and <strong>policymaking<\/strong>. In fact, the project aims to increase awareness of the importance of developing up-to-date survey data and formulating new indicators on SWB at the European level. Furthermore, the work of WELL-MIG will contribute to a deeper understanding of the SWB level of the immigrant population and assist policymakers in implementing factors that improve the
