Research Council (ERC), the <\/span><em>Illicit Labour<\/em><span> project involves an international consortium composed of the <\/span><em>National Research Council<\/em><span> and <\/span><em>Queen Mary University of London<\/em><span>. The project, coordinated by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/carlo-inverardi-ferri\/\">Dr. Carlo Inverardi-Ferri<\/a><span>, introduces a study on the links between climate change mitigation and illicit economies, and the related implications for ecological governance. <\/span><strong>It investigates the production networks of the photovoltaic industry to reveal the dark side of the green energy sector<\/strong><span> in various geographical sites (China, Ghana, and India). However, this relationship has surprisingly received limited systematic attention in labour studies.
