normal; font-weight: 400;\">Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies of the<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnr.it\/\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">National Research Council<\/a>, is published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.francoangeli.it\/riviste\/sommario.aspx?IDRivista=184&amp;lingua=IT\">Franco Angeli editore<\/a>, and is funded by the CNR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dsu.cnr.it\/\">Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Cultural Heritage<\/a>.<\/p><p>Since November 18, 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anvur.it\/\">ANVUR<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Allegato-WeE-ANVUR.pdf\">has recognized it as a Class A<\/a> scientific journal for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anvur.it\/attivita\/vqr\/vqr-2011-2014\/gev\/area-14-scienze-politiche-e-sociali\/\">Area 14 (Political and Social Sciences)<\/a>. <\/p><p>The journal, published in print and digital formats on a semi-annual basis, is monographic in nature and, since 2020, also includes an open section to provide space for innovative and interesting works related to the ongoing scientific debate or the current historical moment. Since its inception in 2015, Welfare &amp; Ergonomia has adopted double-blind peer review. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/\">IRPPS<\/a> mission guides the choice of topics, which is shared with the journal&#8217;s governing bodies.  <\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The journal was founded in 2015 by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/antonella-ciocia\/\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Antonella Ciocia<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, who served as its director until 2024. Starting in 2019, following the collaboration between the CNR and the University, the directorship has been shared with Mara Tognetti Bordogna (University of Milan). In 2024, for IRPPS, the directorship passed to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/pietro-demurtas\/\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Pietro Demurtas<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/anna-milione\/\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Anna Milione<\/a><span style=\"font-size:
