Tiziana Guzzo holds a degree in Sociology and a PhD in Theory and Social Research from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
From 2005 to 2008 she was a contract lecturer in Sociology and Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes at the University of Catanzaro “Magna Graecia”. Since 2007 she has been a researcher at the Institute of Research on Population and Social Policies (IRPPS-CNR) in Rome. <\/div>
<\/div>

She conducts sociological studies and surveys on social phenomena and societal change with particular reference to the social impacts related to the diffusion of Information and Communication Technologies. Her research interests include: social informatics, digital learning, social innovation, social media and social networks, environmental sustainability, tourism, risk perception, communication and management, participatory and co-creative methodologies, and user acceptance analysis. <\/p>

She was principal investigator of the research project: “Territorial identity and risk perception in a degraded environment”. She has been involved in several national and international projects including: DECISO, ATHENA, GRRIP, R-I-PEERS, BIOVoices, HubIT, MARINA<\/a>, HERACLES<\/a>, BIOVoices<\/a>, IC-Health<\/a>, OPEN DOORS<\/a>, ACT, SciCaf\u00e82.0<\/a>, Shapes, Green Hero, Erasmus, Knowing<\/a>, IMRA, INCA<\/a>, MIDIR<\/a>. <\/p>

She is the author of over 50 national and international publications in journals, conference proceedings, books and encyclopedias, and of over 60 scientific reports. She carries out numerous editorial activities: she is Editor of the Journal Current Social Science, she has been Guest Editor of several special issues in international journals, including Informatics, Pervasive and Mobile Computing, International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector. She is part of the Organizing Committee and Program Committee of various international conferences and workshops, and also conducts peer review activities for numerous international journals. <\/p>
