A sociologist with a PhD in economic geography, he is a researcher and coordinator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/musa\/\">Social Changes, Evaluation and Methods (MUSA)<\/a> research group at the Cnr <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/en\/\">Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies<\/a>, and a former professor of social science methodology at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma1.it\/it\/pagina-strutturale\/home\">\u2018La Sapienza\u2019 University of Rome<\/a>.
