Welfare &amp; Ergonomia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The new call for papers from the journal Welfare &amp; Ergonomia, edited by Alberto Pesce and Veronica Valenti, is dedicated to &#8220;<strong>Investing in the care of social reintegration for incarcerated individuals: trends and new perspectives of Italian welfare<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>Proposals may be submitted by <strong>March 29, 2024<\/strong>, by sending an abstract of approximately 3,000 characters (including spaces). <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>All information is available in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/WeE-2-2024-ITA-tipo-1-.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.irpps.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/WeE-2-2024-ITA-tipo-1-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">call<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Welfare &amp; Ergonomia is a <strong>Class A journal (Anvur)<\/strong>, published by Franco Angeli, based on an editorial project and direction by IRPPS (thanks to researcher Antonella Ciocia). <\/p>\n\n<p> By way of example, contributions for this edition may cover:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>social and health aspects resulting from overcrowding at both collective and individual levels;<\/li><li>the importance of maintaining emotional and family ties in prison to gather suggestions for reform perspectives;<\/li><li>the mutual relationship between forms of restorative justice and social reintegration;<\/li><li>the importance of educational paths and professional training in prison;<\/li><li>the analysis of Italian or European <em>best practices<\/em> aimed at promoting training, placement, and employment;<\/li><li>the analysis of traditional welfare models and their implementation regarding persons deprived of liberty, with attention also to new models or <em>policies<\/em> concerning inmates or former inmates;<\/li><li>the analysis of legislation and jurisprudence regarding the social and professional reintegration of inmates;<\/li><li>a critical analysis of the role of local authorities, social private organizations, and the private sector in ensuring training, placement, and employment;<\/li><li>the analysis of local <em>best practices<\/em> or those piloted in individual penal institutions;<\/li><li>the analysis of factors leading to recidivism: <\/li><li>the analysis of state and regional spending aimed at promoting social and professional integration paths;<\/li><li>the treatment of inmates nearing release at the end of their sentence;<\/li><li>the impact of new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence or neuroscience, on the social and professional reintegration of incarcerated individuals.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new call for papers from the journal Welfare &amp;
