Marco Cellini earned his PhD in Political Science from the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) Guido Carli in Rome.
He conducts research on democratization processes, the measurement of democracy, inequality and poverty, global governance, and European policies.
He is a research fellow at the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies of the National Research Council (IRPPS-CNR, Rome), where he carries out research on European asylum policies, global governance, and the relationship between forms of government and economic inequality.
