Adriana Valente, a jurist and sociologist, is a Research Director at CNR-IRPPS, within the Social Studies on Science, Education, Communication (COMESE) research group, whose main objective is the understanding and enhancement of the relationships between science, policy, and society. Her research interests include: the relationship between evidence and decision-making processes; education, science teaching, and participation in scientific debate; science communication and the scientific community; representations of international migration and representations of migrants in textbooks and the media.
