She focuses on topics related to scientific communication, with a primary focus on open access and the management and dissemination of research data analyzed from various perspectives: repositories, Current Research Information Systems (CRIS), standards, and evaluation metrics.

In the field of medical informatics, she has worked on the design and development of information systems to support clinical trials for drugs and medical devices. She currently continues her studies on business process modeling, conceptual models based on clinical standards, and quality indicators, also with a view to implementing data warehouses.

She is the scientific lead for national projects and operational units of European projects.
