Contest on Gender Equality
The COGE contest is promoted by the European Commission-funded project R&I-Peers – Gender Balance for Innovation. The Social Informatics and Technology Assessment research group, coordinated by Patrizia Grifoni of the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies (Cnr-Irpps), participates in the project with the aim of promoting gender equality in research organizations.
The contest is open to students between 18 and 25 years of age, residing in Belgium, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Israel, Slovenia, Spain, or Tunisia, who believe that gender equality is fundamental for a more inclusive society with equal rights for all citizens.
The R&I PEERS project invites students to apply for the “COGE: Contest on Gender equality” by submitting a self-produced video, no longer than three minutes, in English (or in another language with English subtitles), covering gender equality, barriers, challenges, opportunities, solutions, and new perspectives.
The video must be uploaded to your YouTube channel no later than midnight on May 31, 2022.
Submitted videos will be evaluated by an international jury appointed by the R&I-Peers project. The three best videos will be awarded three tablets, one for each winner. Furthermore, the submitted videos will be published on the R&I-Peers platform, on the R&I-Peers project websites, and on various social networks.
