Monia Torre

Monia Torre has been a research fellow at IRPPS since February 2023, where she collaborates with the Communications Office on the analysis, planning, and management of the Institute’s channels and the dissemination of research activities.

A graduate in Cultural Anthropology, Ethnology, and Ethnolinguistics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, she subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Science Communication “Franco Prattico” from SISSA in Trieste (2018).

From April 2021 to January 2023, she was a fellow at INMI Spallanzani, where she worked on situation analysis, sentiment, and keyword monitoring regarding the appropriate use of antibiotics. She has worked for several years as a freelancer, collaborating in particular with the science communication agency Zadig on institutional communication in the healthcare sector and the dissemination of European projects. She writes for  Scienza in Rete.

Her research interests focus on institutional science communication, risk communication, and participatory methodologies in these fields.
