This is one of the lowest percentages in Europe: if we were like Bulgaria or Macedonia, the Roma population would be around 6 million. In Europe, the Romani population is estimated at 11.3 million people, while in the European Union the average estimate is 6.2 million people, equal to approximately 1.2% of the population.”
