Information
Serena Tagliacozzo is a research fellow at the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies of the National Research Council, where she evaluates European projects and provides support for their drafting and implementation. Before joining the CNR, Serena earned a PhD in Disaster Risk Reduction from University College London in the United Kingdom, as well as a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Community Psychology from the University Federico II of Naples, and has worked in various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Her research interests focus on the monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian projects and the translation of research results into policies useful for minimizing and managing risks associated with crises and disasters of various kinds. Serena has presented her work at international conferences and in industry journals.
