Serena Tagliacozzo is a research fellow at the Research Institute on Population and Social Policies of the National Research Council, within which she carries out activities for the evaluation of European projects and support for the drafting and implementation of the same. Prior to joining CNR, Serena earned a PhD in Disaster Risk Reduction from University College London in the UK and a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Community Psychology from the Federico II University of Naples and worked in several government organizations and non-governmental. Her research interests focus on the monitoring and evaluation of projects in the humanitarian field and the translation of research results into policies useful for minimizing and managing the risk associated with crises and disasters of various kinds, Serena has presented her works at international conferences and in trade journals.
