Socio-anthropologist and researcher at the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies of the National Research Council (IRPPS-CNR). His research interests include issues related to migration processes in contexts of globalization and interculturalism: transnational migration, diaspora studies, ethnicity studies, media and migration, international student mobility. Previously, he worked on the phenomenon of drug addiction among the immigrant population in Italy at the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Research Council (IFC-CNR). He is the author of numerous essays in Italian and international journals and monographs.
