I have been a researcher at the National Research Council since 1987, affiliated with the Research Institute on Population and Social Policies since 2001 and previously with the Institute for the Applications of Computing.
Graduated in Mathematics from the La Sapienza University of Rome, I obtained the Master of Science and the PhD in Statistics (1994), both from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine of the University of London.
I mainly deal with statistical methods applied to the field of health.
Main research activities in progress:
Methods for estimating the economic impact of cancer on the national health system.
Methods for estimating the prevalence of long-term survivors from childhood cancers.
Statistical methods and models for the study of the prevalence of tumors.
