She collaborates on the European project gEneSys – Transforming Gendered Interrelations of Power and Inequalities in Transition Pathways to Sustainable Energy Systems, focusing on the social and gender aspects of the energy transition.

Information

She previously earned a PhD in Sustainability Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), focusing on climate change vulnerability and gender inequalities. At this university, she was a member of the research project “Threats and vulnerability in the Mexican rural world: loss of agrobiodiversity and seeds, youth migration, and climate change.”

As a member of the Italian Ethnological Mission in Mexico, she specialized in medical anthropology, working on the relationship between domestic violence and health services in the State of Chiapas. She currently conducts research on the gender dimension of sustainability, particularly regarding climate change and energy transition.

She has collaborated with and provided consultancy for various foundations, associations, and cooperatives in Italy and several Latin American countries.
