Mind the GEPs

More and more women are choosing careers in research, yet they remain underrepresented as authors, leaders, and in senior positions. We are working to change this pattern, using #GenderData to identify the extent and causes of inequalities!

This is the focus of the MindtheGEPS project. The project is coordinated by the University of Turin and is funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Science with and for Society action. The project lead is Lucio Pisacane of the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies – CNR.

From 2021-2024, we will work to increase women’s participation in research and innovation with the aim of improving women’s career prospects, enhancing gender balance in the decision-making bodies of research organizations, and including gender dimensions in relevant research content. Our goal is to increase the quality and social relevance of the knowledge, technologies, and innovations produced.
