Information

Ilaria Primerano is a technologist at the National Research Council, Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies (IRPPS) in Fisciano (SA).

She is currently part of the FOSSR project – Fostering Open Science in Social Science Research, and is collaborating on Work Package 4 – Improving longitudinal data infrastructures in Italy.

She earned a degree in Sociology in 2009, a Master’s degree in Sociology and Territorial Policies in 2011, and a PhD in Engineering and Economics of Innovation in 2016 from the University of Salerno.

Since 2020, she has been a contract professor for the Statistics Laboratory for Social Sciences course at the Department of Political and Social Studies of the University of Salerno, where she is also a member of the SNALab – Social Networks and Analytics for Digital Space and Territory research and training laboratory.

During her training years, she participated as a research fellow in several research projects whose results were presented at conferences and in publications. She has also been involved in the organizing committees of national and international workshops.

She is the author of articles and contributions published in national and international journals, conference proceedings, and volumes.

Her research interests concern the analysis of complex data structures through the use of Multidimensional Data Analysis and Social Network Analysis with applications in economic and social fields. She has worked on university teaching evaluation, national and international student mobility, university dropout, social support, and the network society.
