The KnowInG project, funded by the STC MED program, arises from the awareness that the growth of the regions of the Mediterranean area passes through the development of the so-called "knowledge economy" which represents a fertile ground where economic governance can give life to a virtuous collaboration between the main players in development. In the Regions involved in the project there is a lack of coordination of these actors which gives rise to the need to favor the creation of groups of productive enterprises (creative clusters) and to internationalize the knowledge market. The IRPPS-CNR has the fundamental role in this project of producing and making available to the project a virtual resource center that represents an on-line service concentrator to foster creativity and innovation.
