Information

Stefano BOFFO was born in Rome on 02/01/1949 and resides in Rome. He graduated cum laude in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (1972), and specialized in Development Economics at the University of Naples – Center for Specialization and Economic-Agricultural Research on Southern Italy – Portici (1975). He is currently an associate professor (SPS/08) at the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Naples “Federico II”. He is a member, for the Social Sciences sector, of the Evaluation Committee for the admission to awards and mentions of periodical publications recognized as having high cultural value by MIBAC-Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (2015-present). He is a member of the ANVUR Working Group “Single Annual Form Third Mission/Social Impact” (since 2017). Former member of the CETM-Committee of Experts for the evaluation of the third mission ANVUR within the VQR 2011-2014 (2015-2017) and of the Evaluation Board of the University of Venice “Ca’ Foscari” (from 1999 to 2010), he was also a member of the MURST Working Group “Educational Autonomy and Innovation of University and Post-University Study Programs”, coordinated by G. Martinotti (1996-1998). He was Professeur de 1ere classe invité at the University of Reims, Champagne, Ardenne (November 2007-March 2008) and Titulaire de indemnité d’haut niveauMinistère de la Recherche of the French Republic at the University of Marne-la-Vallée – GIP MIS CNRS (September-December 2000).
