VIVA - Evaluation and Analysis of interventions to prevent and combat violence against women

The Italian system for preventing and combating violence against women is characterized by the interconnection of multiple actors operating at various levels to address a structural phenomenon that is difficult to eradicate. On one hand, national and regional institutions define the legislative framework, policies, and criteria for the allocation of funds; on the other, third-sector organizations implement practical prevention and intervention measures, supporting victims in their empowerment process, often through public funding and in partnership with local institutions.
