Rinaldo Evangelista obtained his PhD from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex (UK) and previously a degree in Economics and Business from “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He is currently Full Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Camerino (School of Law), Visiting Research Fellow at the Birkbeck Centre for Innovation Management Research, University of London, and holds the teaching position in Industrial Economics at Luiss “Guido Carli” University. He has produced more than 50 works published in international journals. He has conducted research and published on topics concerning sectoral models of innovation, innovation in the service sector, the impact of innovation on employment, national and regional innovation systems, innovative strategies of multinational enterprises, and the evaluation of innovation policies. He has collaborated with international institutions such as the OECD, the European Commission, and EUROSTAT, and has participated in numerous international research projects. He has served as an evaluator for the European Commission (DGXII) for research projects submitted under the Fourth and Fifth Framework Programmes, and has conducted evaluation activities for MIUR and the Ministry of Economy.
