Rinaldo Evangelista holds a PhD from the Science Policy Research Unit of the University of Sussex (UK) and previously a degree in Economics and Commerce from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He is currently full professor of Economic Policy at the University of Camerino (School of Law), Visiting Research Fellow at the Birkbeck Center for Innovation Management Research, of the University of London and professor of Industrial Economics at the Luiss University "Guido Carli ". He has produced more than 50 papers published in international journals, has carried out research and published on topics related to sectoral models of innovation, innovation in the tertiary sector, the impact of innovation on employment, national and regional systems of innovation, the innovative strategies of multinational companies, the evaluation of innovation policies. He has collaborated with international institutions such as the OECD, the European Commission and EUROSTAT, and has participated in numerous international research projects. He has been an evaluator at the European Commission (DGXII) of the research projects presented in the fourth and fifth Framework Programs, and has carried out evaluation activities for the MIUR and the Ministry of Economy.
