As a public research institution, access to CNR-IRPPS is guaranteed through public competitions. Furthermore, the possibility of collaboration is open, and we welcome interest from researchers across all disciplines. We value diversity and are committed to promoting collaboration with all stakeholders.

How to collaborate with CNR-IRPPS

Before contacting us, please read the following specifications carefully. We receive numerous requests and can only address those that fully comply with the instructions below. We look forward to exploring potential collaborations.

Scientific collaboration is open and informal. We invite you to:
– View the pages of our site dedicated to research projects, infrastructures, and staff
Directly contact the person you would like to collaborate with with a research proposal
– Ideally, develop an initial idea for a joint paper
Include your CV and all relevant supporting information

An official visit or internship can only be organized with the approval of at least one supervisor responsible for research activities:
– Use our website to find the appropriate contact
– Once an agreement is reached with the supervisor, contact the Director’s Office for further details.

In rare cases, the Institute may host researchers under the short-term mobility grant:
– The request must be submitted jointly with one of our supervisors for research activities.
It is important to carefully review the specific requirements and guidelines for this opportunity.

The internships offered by the Institute are training and orientation paths in the relevant disciplinary areas. For an internship to be initiated, the following are required:

  • – an agreement between the home University and the CNR
  • – a training project in line with the Institute’s research activities
  • – approval of the project by the Director’s Office, which will assign an internal tutor.

Undergraduates can access unpaid internships. Graduates, within twelve months of obtaining their degree, are exclusively eligible for paid internships according to the parameters established by current legislation and subject to the Institute’s financial availability. Selection takes place through calls published on the website urp.cnr.it

Research positions and paid collaborations are accessible only through:
Public and open calls published on our website
