She graduated in Theories and Practices of Anthropology at Sapienza University (2001), subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology at SOAS, University of London (2003), and then completed her education with an advanced university training course at the School of International Politics, Cooperation and Development (2005), and a second-level master’s degree in Local Development and Solidarity Economies at the Faculty of Statistics of Sapienza University (2007).

She worked for third-sector organizations in public services in the Rome area, dealing with cultural mediation and social inclusion in educational and socio-health contexts.

From 2008 to 2019 she worked at the Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage of CNR, where she dealt with, among other things, national and European project design and science communication. For years she was dedicated to the interdisciplinary project on Migration, managing the research program and organizing events on research results. From 2014 she was transferred to the CNR offices in Brussels to collaborate with the European Commission on the topic of international migration and science in society. Since 2016 she has returned to Rome and deals with research policy, project design and science communication.

She has been working at IRPPS-CNR since 2019, where she is head of the Communication Office and participates in research activities on Globalization, Research and Innovation.
