Graduated in Theories and practices of anthropology at the “Sapienza” University (2001), she subsequently obtained a Master in Social Anthropology at the SOAS in London (2003), then completing her training course with a higher university training course at the School of International Cooperation and Development Policy (2005), and with a second level master in Local Development and Solidarity Economies at the Faculty of Statistics of the Sapienza University (2007).
During her formative years, she worked for third sector organizations in the public services of the Roman territory, dealing with cultural mediation and social inclusion in the educational and socio-health fields.
From 2008 to 2019 she worked at the CNR at the Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage of the CNR where she dealt, among other things, with national and European planning and scientific dissemination. For years she has dedicated herself to the interdisciplinary project on Migration managing the research program and organizing events on the results of the research. Since 2014 she has moved to the offices of the CNR in Brussels to collaborate with the European Commission on the subject of International Migration and Science with and for Society. Since 2016 she has returned to Rome and she deals with research policies, planning and scientific dissemination.
She joined Irpps-Cnr in 2019, where she belongs to the Area of Research Globalization research and innovation. His research interests are in applied anthropology, science communication and research and development policies.
