Maria Chiara Caschera

Ricercatrice IRPPS


Maria Chiara Caschera received the M.S. degree in computer science engineering from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ in 2005 and the Ph.D. in computer science and automation from the University ‘Roma Tre’ in 2009. She is currently a Researcher with the Institute of Research on Population and Social Policies, National Research Council of Italy, Rome. Her research interests are focused on Human-Computer Interaction, Multimodal Interaction, Visual Languages, Visual Interfaces and Sketch-based Interfaces, knowledge management and innovation,  Social Network Visualization and social computing. She is the author of more than 60 papers in international journals, conferences, and books. She was program chair of several International Workshops and Conferences and she is involved in the Editorial board of several international journals in the field of computer science. She is involved also as Reviewer of several international journals and she participates in many program committees for national and international conferences and workshops.
She was a scientific reviewer for several PRIN, FCS-H2020 PON and Agenda digitale FRI. From 2005 to now, she participated in 17 European and national projects.
