Angela Paparusso, demografa, è Prima Ricercatrice del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche presso l’Istituto di Ricerche sulla Popolazione e le Politiche Sociali (CNR-IRPPS).

Nel 2016, ha conseguito il dottorato in Demografia presso la Scuola di Scienze Statistiche della Sapienza Università di Roma. Ha studiato anche presso l’Istituto Max Planck per la Ricerca Demografica di Rostock e l’Università Autonoma di Barcellona, dove ha ottenuto l’European Master in Demography, della European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD). È stata, infine, Visiting Doctoral Student presso il CERI Sciences Po (Centre de Recherches Internationales) di Parigi e Visiting Researcher presso il Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies (SFM) dell’Università di Neuchâtel (Svizzera).

Attualmente è responsabile del progetto PRIN 2022 “The subjective well-being of immigrants and natives: Italy in the European context (WELL-MIG)​”. 

Fa parte del Rome Chapter della Cattedra Unesco in “Population, Migrations and Development”.

I suoi principali interessi di ricerca si focalizzano sui processi e sulle politiche di immigrazione e di integrazione e sul benessere soggettivo degli immigrati in Italia e in Europa.
