What does a number tell us about the world we live in?
“The data is cast – Society in numbers and voices” is the podcast of the CNR Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies (CNR-IRPPS).
Each episode starts from a number to shed light on fundamental aspects of contemporary society, from gender issues to sustainability, from health to welfare, bringing together those who study these fields with those who work in them.
The goal is to share the lenses of social research to read the complexity of the present and discuss the resulting public, social, and political perspectives.
“Il dato è tratto – Society in Numbers and Voices” is an initiative of the CNR-IRPPS Communication Office. The editorial team consists of Monia Torre, author and host, Azzurra Malgieri and Angela Toffanin, and each episode is developed together with the Institute’s research staff. Music by Dario Germani.
The podcast is available on major listening apps and on YouTube.
